And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2Th 2:11-12


These are particularly strong and weighty words from the Apostle Shaul (Paul), who by the Messiah Yahshua was sent to the Gentiles; and are expressions of concern regarding a ‘STRONG DELUSION’ that would come upon those who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Apostle Shaul elaborates on this thought by telling us that this strong delusion will revolve around a mystery of iniquity which was already at work at the time of the writing of this scripture, one which was full of a powerful devilish energy to deceive the very people he was writing to; that is - the Ecclesia!

This is so important a concept that we must take the time to explore the exegesis of the prime Greek words of these passages of scripture to find the mind of the Apostle Shaul, and how he balanced the Torah (Law) of Elohim (god) with the Grace (Mercy) of Elohim. It is between these two seemingly opposing positions that this mystery finds its power.

Whilst this may seem exhausting to the casual reader the effort to study to show yourselves as approved unto your Elohim pleases Him, and He will open the eyes of the understanding and renew the mind.

We will start with verse 11 as this is the key to that understanding.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God (Elohim/Theos) shall send them ¹strong ²delusion, that ³they should believe a lie:

8Wonders G5059 τε��ας teras ter'-as Of uncertain affinity; a prodigy or omen: - wonder.

The apostle goes on to show that this mystery, which was already at work amongst the Ecclesia, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, comes from Ha Shatan (Satan). Who we know from other passages of scripture can and does appear as an angel of light, if possible, deceiving even the elect, who are the remnant from amongst the many who are called, but in reality the remnant are ─ the elect, the few who are chosen. This is how powerful this mystery really is; that it can, if possible, deceive even the elect!

Yahshua warned His disciples to be aware of this subtle satanic power of false perceptions, of how we view things, when He said, Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Pro 23:7 For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he.

False perceptions are in reality satanic deluding influences that Yah Elohim Himself reluctantly sends, dispatches, or lets, allowing high ranking fallen Elohim (angels - spirits) to come forth to deceive, and cause to fall backwards with a baffling spiritual wind, those of the Ecclesia who are disobedient and who choose to believe a lie instead of obediently following His revealed truth.

Yah not only lets, or allows this influence to come forth to those who are disobedient to His divine will, but He also, out of His great mercy, withholds or holds back this overpowering influence from deceiving His elect; those who hold fast to His truth. A truth He has consistently proclaimed throughout scripture, never deviating from this truth that His people may be Ha Kadosh, or set apart from all other peoples and nations.

If the people who claim to be called by His name prefer a lie and refuse to be Ha Kadosh, no matter how closely it resembles the truth, then a baffling spiritual wind of a lie they shall have, and more, for he who has, more will be given. There is a precedent for this!

1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Once the spirits are dispatched the people begin to see and hear false prophets amongst their flocks, like wolves in sheep’s clothing, the spirits operating in them; waiting to rob, kill and destroy. Divisions, debates, disputes, and arguments amongst the denominations are rife because of this. The people of Elohim should be one people, as a substitute they are divided and conquered by Ha Shatan through this mystery which is like a baffling wind.

This is in reality a penalty exacted as a result of them dishonoring His TRUE NAME - YAH, and breaking His DIVINE COMMANDMENTS, commands that set His people apart from all other peoples on the face of the earth.

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of YAH (essential element of YHWH, mistranslated as the LORD) thy Elohim (mistranslated as God) in vain; for YAH (mistranslated as the LORD) will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Even in this passage His name was taken in vain! We will expand on this later.

By demeaning His glory and His true name YAH amongst the other Elohim (gods), and amongst the nations of the earth, they cause His true name YAH to be blasphemed amongst the heathen and amongst the rebellious Elohim. Although Yah is long suffering, this He will not tolerate!

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Because we do not honor His true name and ignore His commandments He dispatches another spirit to seduce us into further darkness. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. If we are disobedient to His consistently revealed truth we are rebellious and He gives us over to spiritual blindness and blind guides that eventually lead us astray to fall into a hole.

Mat 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

This power to delude the saints is exceedingly strong, for it flows from a dynamic energy of spiritual mind control, whose source is from the prince of the power of the air, and from the evil angelic messengers known as principalities and powers, the rulers of precepts, or principles of thought; the rebellious Elohim.

We are to stand and withstand against this power, fight the good fight by resisting it with faith, standing in the truth of His word… 2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

If we slumber in our minds, and become lukewarm in our spirits, failing to keep the spiritual watch with knowledge, we become drunk with the wine of her fornication, her being Babylon and the pagan practices of her false religious system.

Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Outwardly, Babylon is a counterfeit religious system made up of many pagan practices created by Ha Shatan to delude the nations. Inwardly, Babylon is a condition of the spiritual mind that slowly degenerates into paganism or hedonism, and in some individuals of a particularly religious or political mind, the spiritual pride of the Pharisees or the political pride of the Herodites; other leavens Yahshua warned us to beware of.

In an almost imperceptible way, like disease, rust, or mold, Babylon enters, as another spirit, into those professing believers who are disobedient to Yah and His commands.

Thus, Babylon is more than just a place, as in a national state, and more than a pagan practice, as in a counterfeit religion; Babylon is very much a state of spiritual mind! Ha Shatan knows very well that a tare sown amongst the wheat, a little leaven in the dough, a little error in the doctrine, and a little deviation from the straight way or narrow path, is enough, in time to, if not corrected, cause irreparable damage, so he sows a little tare, a little leaven, a little error, a little deviation; just enough to eventually destroy us.

Spiritual marks of relationship are vital to the eyes of the angels, who live as a host that are encamped around us, Elohim who are watching the affairs of men. Both sides of the eternal struggle for the ownership of creation revolve around marks. As it is in the natural so it is in the spiritual. As in the affairs of men there are marks of ownership and relationship everywhere to be found, so it is also in the affairs of the angels.

Yah Elohim has His mark, as does Ha Shatan. Adhering to the true name of Elohim ─ YAH, acts as a spiritual sign, amongst the elohim, both righteous and fallen, of the divine covenant relationship Yah Elohim has with His people. The mark of Yah is His own Set Apart and Holy Name YAH (YHWH) and the elements of the covenant relationship He has with those who claim to be in covenant with Him are their obedience to His commandments and sayings; namely the Ten Commandments.
The mark of Ha Shatan is any name but the true name, and the lawlessness of no commandments!

Consequently, how we view things is extremely important. It is a matter of perspective. If we view it from our lower egocentric perspective we miss His ways, which are higher, and our salvation is all that seems to matter to us in that self centered world. We see it upside down. This kind of thinking is a subjective perspective and is one sided and biased, favoring us. This is, in its essence, spiritual pride! Yet, once our eyes are opened by the mercy of Yah, an opening which must be sought with all of our heart that we may see Yah Elohim as He really is, and not as He is portrayed by the lower fallen Elohims, then we see that it is not our reputation that is at stake, but the divine reputation of the creator Yah Elohim. This paradigm shift changes everything! The irony in all of this is that our salvation is guaranteed once we have His name, reputation, and glory as our paramount desire!

This is wonderfully summed up by Yahshua; Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: thi[is the first commandment.

Concerning our own salvation, our obedience to the commandments of Yah Elohim operates as a shield, a wall, and a strong tower of defense against the schemes of the Satans; or spiritual adversaries, who like the temptation of Yahshua in the wilderness, are constantly looking for an advantage to tempt and entrap those who slumber on the spiritual watch.

Concerning the reputation of Yah, a fact more important than our individual salvation, is of paramount importance amongst the righteous Kadosh Elohim watchers, and therefore the keeping of the true name and the commandments of Yah demonstrates to the watchers the loyalty of His people to Him, and brings glory to His name.

Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

To bow to the image of Babylon’s Baal is to become the habitation of devils. We will elaborate on this shocking fact shortly.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Serpents in scripture are always types of demons or devils. They enter through open doors, and cracks in the very walls of defense that the name and commands of Yah are designed by a loving Yah Elohim to protect us from their entrance into our lives. Each compromise with the deceiver to the throwing away of the law and commandments of Yah causes another crack to appear in that defense system. No wonder so many ‘Christians’, who claim to be no longer under the law, but under grace, are divided in doctrine and tormented by demons.

Pro 16:7 When a man's ways please Yah Elohim (mistranslated the LORD), he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

When we please Yah by keeping His true name and commandments the walls of fortification remain strong and He makes our spiritual enemies to be at peace with us.

Once bitten by spiritual serpents (demons) their slow poison (doctrines of demons) is released into our spiritual man. These asps infect our discernment of other evil spirits of a higher order whom they serve, and we are deluded into following another gospel, receive another spirit, and eventually another messiah, who appears as an angel of light! We are wide open to attack, destroyed for a lack of knowledge, and are duped into receiving another spirit messiah known as Baal!

Sadly, we can not even recognize this ‘other messiah’ when he appears to us, our discernment now dull, thinking that this is some new spiritual experience, some new revelation, some new appearance of the real messiah. The real messiah Yahshua sits upon the principles of truth consistently revealed in the scriptures, the false upon the principles of error, going beyond what is written.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

This spiritual wickedness in high places is a delusion that is manifested through a deep seated ancient mystery created and promoted throughout the ages by the very principalities and powers the Apostle Shaul unveils in his letter to the Ephesians, a mystery that had already been at work in the past. And was even now at work in the Ecclesia as a leaven Yahshua warned us to avoid by walking the narrow path of Torah, a leaven designed by Ha Shatan to leaven the whole lump of dough!

It is a mystery so powerful that it can easily seduce and infect with the poison of asps the saints whose minds are mentally and spiritually slumbering, through the satanic magic of mind misdirection, thereby leading them astray from walking the narrow path of righteousness that the messiah Yahshua proclaimed from which they must not stray, and persevere to the end, to be saved.

Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The statement Shaul makes to the Ephesians; Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; takes on a more solemn weight when we delve deeper into this power that the chief magician Ha Shatan has at his disposal to effect eye and mind misdirection, he appearing as an angel of light to the eyes of perception, yet in reality, once entrance is unwittingly granted, a false light that slowly becomes a gross darkness to the mind of the spirit, and to the inner man, for if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness!

How does such a mystery work? It works most powerfully by seducing the saints through doctrines of demons, seducing them to wander from the narrow path that Yahshua warned us to stay on, and then causing the saints to swerve aside from the truth of Torah, break the covenant, and the laws and commandments of Yah Elohim, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, who changes not, and who requires obedience to His NAME and His COMMANDMENTS, as a sign of loyalty to Him as their Elohim!

The Ecclesia is deluded by seduction to unwittingly follow the pagan practices of this ancient mystery of Ha Shatan (Satan) known as Mystery Babylon, and thereby falling into the viper’s pit of the idolatrous worship of angels and devils, through misdirection and deception, by the use of language transliterations and the confusion derived from the differences in the languages. In this case seduced into the worship of Belial, or Satan himself, the angel of light!

This comes as no surprise for the confusion of languages has its bitter root in the original Mystery Babylon at the Tower of Babel. Gen 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Because they believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness Yah reluctantly allows, or lets another messiah sit in the holy place of the man, the rightful temple of god! An imposter or misleader who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God!

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God!

We will pause and take some time to break this down for knowledge sake.

There is no mistaking it. The born again believer should now be the very temple in which the set apart spirit of Yah Elohim is to dwell. That is if we do not grieve His spirit by the breaking of His implicit commandments thereby worshipping other gods and incurring His wrath by provoking Him to jealousy. To Him, by not worshipping Yah Elohim according to His ways and prescribed commands, is by default, worshipping other gods!

This is illustrated in the life of the nation of Israel, and foreshadowed for the time of the Ecclesia, by the experience of the prophet YechetzqYah (Ezekiel) when Yah Elohim appeared unto the prophet as a man of fire…

Eze 8:3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy!

Eze 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary?

In reading the whole chapter one finds numerous references to idolatry in the temple of Yah (the temple that is now our hearts and minds) that increase into even “greater abominations that they do.� These continue to increase in severity of idolatrous worship even unto the worship of Tammuz (Baal/Belial) and the Sun, the very essence of Mystery Babylon!

For the people of Yah to think and believe that Yah will wink at their idolatrous practices and that they are guaranteed a free pass to get out of jail, and not incur His wrath toward this spiritual adultery and fornication with devils, is erroneous and completely foolish! To believe this, does nothing else but show how deep the deception is that has taken root in the heart of a man that is confessing to be a believer, yet continues to practice lawlessness and pagan ways, no matter how innocent they may think they are.

Eze 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. Eze 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

The ways of Yah Elohim are His way for our salvation! Yah sees everything clearly, we see through a glass darkly. He knows more than us how dangerous it is to fornicate with devils!

1Ki 11:33 Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.

The people of Yah can be destroyed through a lack of knowledge, and the misdirection and deception of devils can lead them to that destruction. Once this transpires a roving tramp, an impostor and misleader, a deceiver, comes through the door of the heart of the person seducing that one to give him, the imposter, a place of prominence. Suddenly a person’s salvation has been usurped, they have been robbed by the thief, killed by the murderer, and destroyed by the destroyer, and they do not even realize it!

In the light of this a scripture, to our understanding that has often been clouded, now makes perfect sense.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The misleading messiah will teach anything else but the truth, lead you walk on any path but the narrow way, and teach you any other name but the true name of Yah. Follow the True Messiah Yahshua, He taught the narrow path, the true name and the Torah of His Father Yah!

This misleading messiah, this imposter or anti-messiah who leads astray through the spiritual power of misdirecting the saints to practice paganism, actually sits down in the body of the deluded saint in the temple of Elohim, which is the inner being of the person who is deluded!

Perhaps it is time to sincerely ask Yah to break any satanic mind control that you may unknowingly be under the influence.

Act 26:18 To open (my) their eyes, and to turn (me) them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Yah Elohim.

If the Temple that was in Jerusalem was a type of the real temple, that is the man himself, as the Apostle Shaul shows us, then it is certain that Yah Elohim is trying to show us something very significant in Ezekiel. Re-read Ezekiel chapter 8 once more and see it all in the light of this revelation!

Exploring this more, we see that this strong delusion causes the believer to break The Covenant of Yah Elohim, which is His Torah, from which both Yahshua and Shaul taught. The Torah is a Marriage Covenant which contains the promises of each party. Yah cannot lie, therefore He will not break His part of the covenant, but if we break any part of it we become spiritual adulterers and fornicators incurring His wrath. To see this clearly read in scripture all about the spiritual adultery of Israel and how Yah dealt with them for committing spiritual fornication and adultery.

The believer, who enters into the Marriage Covenant is now saved by grace, finds a saving work of a forgiving Yah Elohim, a work done by Yah separately from the law of Torah, a law which showed their sin of spiritual adultery to be sin indeed! The true believer is now empowered by the new birth to obediently follow Torah, for the law of Torah is perfect and will never be done away. Because of the grace imparted power of the Messiah Yahshua now in the believer they are empowered to follow the Torah which is now written on the tablets of their hearts, keeping all the commandments and sayings of Yah, thereby committing sin no more through obedience becoming a Wise Virgin Bride to the Torah Covenant of Marriage!

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

As far as I can see heaven and earth have not passed away, therefore the Torah (law) has not passed away! How often we read this scripture yet we do not see the plain truth in it.

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints!

If we do not see this truth that Yah has laid out throughout the whole of scripture then we as a believer become deluded as free from the law of Torah and we fall into an adulterous disobedience to the law of Yah, which is the covenant contract of marriage He has made with us, and we succumb to temptation and give way to lawlessness, for Torah-less-ness is law-less-ness!

Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

If we at first take the bait of this strong delusion of lawlessness, which speaks falsely of a freedom from the Torah and its commandments; the first commandments Yah wrote with His own fiery hand in stone, and the second ones He spoke personally with His own mouth through Yahshua, and if we begin to break the Ten Words of the Decalogue and the Royal Laws of Love, we then become fully deluded, in its place believing a lie, believing not the truth, but have pleasure in unrighteousness’ Lawlessness to Yah is unrighteousness!

Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Once this sad deception has transpired, the ‘man of lawlessness’ then sits in the holy place in the temple, thereby showing himself that he is god, becoming like the most high, a temple that by right should belong to Yah. For this man of lawlessness had boasted… Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

How can this be so? To understand this we must put precept upon precept.

Firstly, Yah has set Eternity in the heart of man.

Ecc 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

The English word world is mistranslated as world from the Hebrew word ‛ôlâm, from H5956; properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity. Eternity is the spiritual world.

Secondly, the kingdom of god is within you.

Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Thirdly, as already mentioned, you are the temple of god.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God.

And Finally, the anti-messiah Ha Shatan sits in the holy place within you; the temple of god within the eternal kingdom of the spiritual realm.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God (I will ascend above the heights of the clouds), or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God (I will be like the most High).

Yah Elohim warns us through the Apostle Shaul that if we have concord with Belial and take on the pagan wisdom of this world and the mystery of iniquity that is operating in it, then as it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness!

1Co 3:17 -19 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Most of the ‘churches’ have been taught that it is about a literal antichrist that will appear during the end times when a great falling away has occurred and he will sit in the yet to be rebuilt temple that is made out of stone in Jerusalem. It may be that a literal anti-messiah will appear and this will occur, for as it is in the spiritual realm so shall it appear in the natural realm, but it is also made abundantly clear that the mystery of iniquity doth already work in the spiritual realm of our hearts and will continue to do so until he is taken out of the way.

The antichrist can and does already sit in the holy place of the temple of god in the inner man who walks not after righteousness but after lawlessness!
